What this does
Think of two fishermen. One drops a line anywhere in the lake. The other watches for fish jumping and casts right there. Most prospect lists are the first fisherman: every dentist in town, every roofer with a website. Prospect Finder is the second one.
You describe what you sell. It works out the moments when someone visibly needs it (a job post for the chore you take over, a bad run of reviews, a deadline coming up, a new location) and where that shows up in data you can search. You get 30 ranked plays, each one a concrete search you can actually run.
How to use it
- Answer the questions: what you sell, the result the customer gets, what a typical customer pays, what buyers do today instead, who you think buys it, and where your typical customers live. The question about what happens right before someone buys is optional.
- Press Find my prospects. We check your answers first. If they are too vague, we tell you what to add, and that attempt does not use up a run.
- The AI thinks first, then plays appear one by one, best first. The whole list takes 3 to 5 minutes. Each shows where to look, the exact filter, who to contact, proof they have budget, an opening line, and a one-day test.
- Want more ideas for the same business? Press Give me 30 more plays. You get all-new plays that do not repeat the first batch.
Turning a play into real names with Treg
Treg is a pay-per-search lead data service: Google Maps, job postings, Instagram, Shopify stores, Amazon listings, and decision-maker emails. You connect it to an AI assistant, and the assistant runs the searches for you.
Every play has a Copy Treg prompt button. Paste that prompt into your assistant with Treg connected. It pulls a small list first, checks the free filters, and only then pays for contact details. Searches usually cost cents.
Plays marked NON-TREG use a public website first (ad libraries, permit portals, app stores and so on). The prompt tells your assistant where to start, then uses Treg to find the right person and their email.
Reading a play
- The score out of 15 adds up Cost (how cheap per good name), Hit rate (how likely a real conversation) and Scale (could a script run it every week). Each part is 1 to 5.
- The opening line has [blanks]. Fill them with what your search actually finds. Never send it with the brackets still in.
- The one-day test tells you how many people to contact and what result counts as a pass, so you can drop a dead play fast.
- Flags: ROLLUP means one buyer controls many locations, GRAY means handle with care, ACTIVE means you would have to contact them to spot the signal, SEASONAL means it only works part of the year.
Play it safe
- Never text a phone number you got from a data service. In the US that can cost $500 or more per text. Email and manual calls only.
- Cold email in the US must have an honest subject line, your postal address, and a working way to opt out.
- Lead with the evidence, not fear. "Saw your job post" works. "You could get sued" gets reported as spam.
Your privacy
Your answers are sent to an AI model to generate the plays, and we keep a count of how many runs each email uses per day. We do not sell your answers or use them for anything else. Your last answers and plays are saved in this browser so they survive a refresh.
Common questions
How many runs do I get?
Three per day per email. A run with answers too vague to use is never counted, and a run that fails partway is refunded. If you have a code, enter it under Have a code? for more.
Does this find the actual people for me?
No. It tells you exactly where and how to look. You run the searches yourself with Treg (or by hand), so you only pay for the searches you choose.
I sell to consumers, not businesses. Does it work?
Yes. It looks for the public traces your buyers, or the places that serve them, leave behind.
The plays are off target.
Read the What we assumed box at the top. If something there is wrong, make that answer more specific and run again.
